Jose Miguel C. Palarca

A natural leader and negotiator, Miko has a long track record of guiding clients towards success. With years of experience in corporate law and dealing with people from all walks of life, he has the ability to come up with unique solutions to seemingly impossible problems.
Miko, a graduate of the University of the Philippines College of Law, has been practicing law for more than 20 years, specializing in Commercial Law and Litigation. He is a professor of Criminal Law at the same University and is a volunteer supervising lawyer at the Office of the Legal Aid of the University of the Philippines College of Law.
As a practitioner of Commercial Law, Miko handles corporate organization and formation, foreign investment and special registration, mergers, acquisitions and corporate restructuring, corporate counseling, governance and compliance, banking and finance, energy, mining, and taxation. Miko also specializes in power and energy and property and land-use conversion.
As a litigator, Miko handles various cases ranging from family disputes, contractual disputes, intra-corporate controversies, criminal prosecution and defense, labor disputes, and intellectual property disputes.
